When the car arrived the right rear tire was flat, the driver aired up the tire but the tire was now seperated from the rim so the air was coming right out. At the time I did not see the damage to the tire so the driver left right away and a short time later I tried to air up the tire and noticed the air was coming out of the side wall. A closer examination revealed a star pattern with several cuts in the side of the tire. This star pattern on the side of the tire is the same shape as the metal rachet turnbuckle on the transporter that the driver uses to secure the vechicle to the trailer. They now will not honor my clain for $200.00 for the damage to the tire because I did not note it on the delivery papers, the tire is a Mickey Thompson Racing tire and sells for $300.00 at Jegs. It is obvious the damage was done on the trailer due to the car being chained down too close to the metal rachet by the driver.
